Brockdish is a village and civil parish in the South Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. It is 915 hectares  in size. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 605 in 265 households. The village is situated on the River Waveney (south of which is Suffolk), and is about three miles south-west of Harleston. A lovely old town with shops and places to eat and drink. The market town of diss is a short drive away you can see the famous Diss mere visit the market on a Friday and the famous gaze auction house if you want to bid on that must have item. The city of Norwich is 20 miles away with a castle and cathedral and all that a city has to offer, Bury St Edmunds is 20 miles or so with it,s lovely old town, Abbey and Cathedral to enjoy. Staying in Brockdish gives you the ideal base to tour Norfolk and Suffolk with many World War II air fields, museums National trust Houses and fantsatic coast not forgetting the norfolk broads all within an easy drive.
